Music for the ecclesiastical year
World renowned Swedish composer Sven-David Sandström is known for the beauty and intense communicative qualities of his music.
In a three-year project, Sandström wrote music for every Sunday of the ecclesiastical year, inspired by the way Bach continuosly added to the repertoire. This concert features selected works from this cycle of compositions, sung by two of the choirs that took part in the original project.
