Canticum canticorum, or the Song of Songs, is the name of the most poetic book in the Bible. This more than two thousand year old poem describes the inner dialogue between God and the soul of Man. French composer Jean Yves Daniel-Lesur is known for his inspired and challenging setting of this beloved text.
The concert also includes a new piece by Swedish composer star Anders Hillborg, The Breathing of the World, for choir, cello and soprano saxophone. Some beautiful Spring pieces will round off this exciting programme.
