SUMMARY:Organ Concert | Bach Concert in Memory of Gunnel Nilsson
DESCRIPTION:A long-standing and beloved tradition in St. Jacob’s Church is the annual Bach Concert in memory of Gunnel Nilsson. For many years\, it has been Mattias Wager who\, at these concerts\, performs a selection of works from Bach’s enormous output. During his lifetime\, Bach managed to write nearly a full day’s worth of organ music — a rich source to draw from! \nGunnel Nilsson was one of the most faithful concertgoers in St. Jacob’s Church. Her family established a fund in memory of Gunnel Nilsson\, in support of young promising organists. \nJ.S. Bach – Prelude and Fugue in G minor\, BWV 535J.S. Underground or bus to Kungsträdgården. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I photograph\, film or take up sound during the concert?\n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, it is not allowed to photograph\, film or take up sound during our concerts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nConcert day information\n\n\n\nDoors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late entry will not be permitted after the concert begins. Please be aware that restroom facilities are limited. \n\n\n\n
