SUMMARY:From God to Human
DESCRIPTION:The title of the concert alludes to a recurring theme in several of the works: humanity receiving something from God – through prayer\, worship\, or reflection. That “something” can take many forms: the wind and the Holy Spirit in Vuojnha Biegga\, trust in Hear my Prayer\, O Lord\, peace in Komm\, Jesu\, komm\, the eternal light in Canticum calamitatis maritimae\, or the sacred and the earthly announced by church bells in En Ego Campana. \nEven the meaning – or the absence of it – in Hymn of Acxiom can be interpreted in light of what God gives to humankind.
