Evensong
20 April @ 16:00 - 16:45
Free
Evensong is an evening service that combines prayers, psalm readings, and beautiful choral singing. The long tradition dates back to the 1500s. With its special combination of musical beauty and spiritual depth, Evensong has, in the past century, spread from its country of origin, England, to the rest of the world, becoming loved by both believers and music lovers in general.
Easter Day highlights hope and light. In the quiet atmosphere of Evensong, the message of Easter gains an extra dimension. In a time when many seek a place for stillness and beauty, Evensong can become a bridge between our history and our need for community. Let the music lift you, and the light fill you!
