Every year, people pilgrimage to Storkyrkan to experience Swedish Lucia celebrations at their finest. In the glow of the Lucia crown and the candlelight, some of Stockholm’s best children’s and youth choirs, including Storkyrkan’s Chamber Choir and our slightly older choir S:t Jacobs Vocal Ensemble, perform the beloved songs associated with the unique Swedish tradition of celebrating Lucia and St. Stephen. The Lucia procession makes its entrance, and the light illuminates the deepest darkness. In our unique church setting – Storkyrkan, with its medieval mystique – you will experience something extraordinary.

Ticket prices:100, 140, 180, 220, 290 SEK, discounts available for pensioners, children/youth/students

Storkyrkan – Stockholm Cathedral is situated in Old Town just beside the Royal Castle. Underground: Old Town or bus to Slottsbacken

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late entry will not be permitted after the concert begins. Please be aware that restroom facilities are limited.
