Meet Lucia
Every year, people make a pilgrimage to Storkyrkan to experience Swedish Lucia celebrations at their finest. In the glow of the Lucia crown and candlelight, some of Stockholm’s finest children’s and youth choirs – including Storkyrkans Kammarkör and our slightly older ensemble, S:t Jacobs Vokalensemble – perform the beloved songs of this unique Swedish tradition honouring Lucia and St Staffan. The Lucia procession enters, and light breaks through the deepest darkness. In our unique sacred space – Storkyrkan, with its medieval mystique – you are invited to a truly extraordinary experience.

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late entry will not be permitted after the concert begins. Please be aware that restroom facilities are limited.
