Sung Eucharist

Sacred Music Today is an international masterclass in choral conducting, with its third edition taking place at Storkyrkan from 11th to 15th September 2024. Over the course of five days, eight participants from as many countries will be guided through seminars, concerts, worship services, and intensive choral conducting studies. During the Sundays High Mass, the students will conduct Stockholm Cathedral Chamber Choir  the pieces that have served as their study material throughout the five days.

The event is organised by Storkyrkan and led by Gary Graden, Helene Stureborg, and Mikael Wedar. This year’s conductors are Jack Apperley from the United Kingdom, Katerina Blizkovksa from the Czech Republic/Belgium, Oreste Calabria from Italy, Gisèle Delgoulet from France, Mirjam van den Hoek from the Netherlands, Rebecka Ryd from Sweden, Maxime Thély from Switzerland, and Yuto Yamaguchi from Japan/Hungary.
