S:t Jacob’s Chamber Choir welcomes guest conductor Lone Larsen, choir professor and artistic leader of the professional vocal ensemble VoNo. The audience is invited to a late spring concert that explores the Nordic light and the power of the sun.
In the Nordic countries, light holds a special place in our hearts—something that countless composers and poets have reflected upon. Jean Sibelius, Andrea Tarrodi, Jørgen Jersild, and Ola Gjeilo, among others, have captured the grandeur of nature and the life-giving power of the sun in their music.
The presence of light is not only a physical necessity but also a spiritual source of strength. When the sun’s rays reach us, hope, energy, and joy for life are awakened. Similarly, choral singing stirs our inner flame with tones of love and warmth.

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to photograph, film or take up sound during our concerts.
Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late entry will not be permitted after the concert begins. Please be aware that restroom facilities are limited.
