Welcome to a magical summer evening in Storkyrkan, where the power of music unites the heavenly and the earthly. Under the direction of Gary Graden, S:t Jacob’s Chamber Choir presents a concert filled with light, resonance, and heartfelt expression.
Mattias Wager offers music by Poulenc, Mozart and Sjostakovitj on the church’s world-renowned Marcussen organ.
Storkyrkan is visited by choirs from Denmark and Norway, who together with S:t Jacob’s Vocal Ensemble present a program in which older music is given new life through modern interpretations. We are invited to hear Nordic sonorities in the meeting between tradition and renewal. Music by Henry Purcell, Bo Holten, Edvard Grieg, among others.
