Nils Lindberg’s Requiem for jazz orchestra, choir, two soprano soloists, and a baritone soloist captivates both critics and audiences.
Since its premiere performance with the Swedish Radio Choir conducted by Gustaf Sjökvist, the work has garnered significant attention and is regularly performed both in Sweden and abroad.
The soprano soloist at Storkyrkan (Stockholm Cathedral) is Lena Willemark, who also participated in the premiere and subsequent recording of the piece in 1994.
Carefree Big Band is a Stockholm-based jazz orchestra with a diverse repertoire. They have previously performed Nils Lindberg’s Requiem at Siljansnäs Church together with the Oratorio Choir Vox.

Storkyrkan – Stockholm Cathedral is situated in Old Town just beside the Royal Castle. Underground: Old Town or bus to Slottsbacken

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts. Late entry will not be permitted after the concert begins. Please be aware that restroom facilities are limited.
