Experience the magic of spring as wind instruments and choir unite in a captivating programme filled with energy and vibrant expression. The concert features excerpts from Haydn’s magnificent oratorio Die Jahreszeiten (The Seasons), where the transition from winter to spring is depicted with warmth and dramatic flair. We are also treated to a glimpse of Fanny Mendelssohn’s six lyrical Lieder, whose sensitivity and elegance mirror the return of light and the rebirth of nature. The programme further includes a variety of works inspired by the life and movement of the season. Let yourself be carried away by sounds that awaken both hope and joy in living.
